    Apple Game Controller

During GDC13, Apple was privately showing it's game controller to developers. It's going to work with iphones/ipads and offer better controls than touch screen. Given that these devices can do AirPlay(stream picture to big screen tvs) and are as powerful or close to current gen consoles. We can except a console experience on iOS devices soon. Rumors say it might wrap around the devices and work like a wii u gamepad, interesting eh? Apple is holding an event this april, where we can except it's unveiling and all details. It might be bad news for big 3, but I think it's great news for indie devs as it offers new big market that easy to get into, that is if it sells. Anyways whats your take on this?

      Complete nonsense !
Have you played a game on a PS4? If you think Apple devices are in any way comparable to consoles, you must be comparing consoles from the 1970's !
Its inconceivable that even if Apple launched a console aimed solely at gaming, that it would even come close to, or ever compare to Xbox's and PlayStation's... Ludicrous!

        Yes, Apple has a controller.

No, an iPad is not an equivalent to a current generation console, the hardware still isn't close (and it's considerably more expensive - it's borderline low-end gaming PC cost). By the time any such shift may have taken place in Apple consumer habits, we'll already have a new set of home consoles which far outstretch it for a smaller price.
