Have a "clean slate" in the content browser

I want to start developing a serious game, and do not want all the assets already included with UDK cluttering up the content browser. How do I delete these assets, and should I delete them all or is there anything required for UDK to run?

Best method is to just have a different folder for your own assets. When your game is nearing completion, you can just delete the entire UDK content folder. You should leave the Engine ones alone.

Whether the game is serious or not, it is often easier to prototype first with existing assets and then roll your own in.

Maybe you'd like to use this package: http://forums.epicgames.com/threads/...-November-2011

If you install it side by side with the original you can always refer to UDK assets and have your own clean project.
