    Custom Projectiles

    Sup all, I am trying to make my own custom gun in UDK. Now I have watched lots of tutorials and got around to creating my own model, rigged it, imported it in UDK and got it to work. BUT most if not all of these tutorials make use of preexisting projectiles in the UDK -such as the shockrifle projectiles- on the custom weapon. Now it doesn't really make sense that my Glock is firing rockets or laser balls. So i ask you, would you guys happen to know of any tutorials that go through the custom projectiles making process? I have no idea where to start when it comes to creating my own custom projectiles and particle effects, so any help would be tremendously appreciated.
