Does Render setting in 3dsMax matter in UDK

E.G. If I use VRAY instead of default scanline renderer will it it look any better within UDK or does it just look better in 3ds Max.

    Thank you.

Renderer in 3ds Max has nothing to do with UDK

The only things that go from 3ds Max to UDK are meshes, materials (depending on how you set it up), and animation.

Are you talking about baking textures?

Baking textures not really. The answer I want to know is if I buy VRAY for £200 (similar price) then will I see a difference in the graphical quality of my models.

        That is all.

No, there is absolutely no connection between UDK's rendering and the 3dsMax renderer.

I suggest you to learn 3ds max or maya and then came back to UDK.
Game Development is very confusing without enough knowledge of 3d pipeline specially if you are not part of a Dev. Team.
