Exporting a map for standalone play?

A little while ago I started working on a UDK map for the first time(with the help of 2 other people).

We've now finished a map you can walk around on, for purposes of mimicking a real environment. The idea is to use this in architecture, to show off how something would look before it's actually built.

This is a project for college, we're in no way professional.

Now that it's finished however, we don't know how to export the map so that is can be "played" as a standalone program. I've found nothing on the forum search and google only offers "exporting to Blend".

What we'd like to do is make it so anyone can download an executable and just use that to show the map and they can then walk around in it. Is this possible?

What you're talking about is cooking and packaging content for distribution. There should be plenty of information in the documentation.

You use the FrontEnd to create an installer for your project. It isn't going to be a single EXE file however.
