Newby asking for little intro on UDK

Im new to this udk , Downloadad 2 days ago. Im good with 3dsmax but this is a bit differant thing right.?
So I couldnt find how to make models in here,animate a scene with moving cam etc.( Mey be coz Im looking @this in a 3dsmax eye).
if you people can give me a clue on where and how to bigin thats greatly apriciatd
