    custom mesh appears black

    So i have an object in which i have wrote some code for and have managed to import it, through the actor classes tab of the generic browser. The issue im having is that the object is just showing up as a black mesh. I'm pretty sure this is down to a lighting issue, so i have attempted different lights to see if it works.

    It seems that under a skylight its fine, however under any other light it doesn't seem to work. Can anyone help me out... it seems to be effecting all my objects and i'm pretty sure its a noob mistake i'll probably kick myself for it after.

    I just had this problem the other day. Do you have two channels of uv maps. One for your diffuse and one for your light mass maps. You need to. . That should solve it.

      You may also want to check lighting channels (for example, if you've created an actor which accepts only dynamic lights, but have no dynamic lights in your level).
