Maya 2012 can export .swf files,are you going to use it frequently for UDK HUDs ?

I doubt that the Maya SWF export is at all useful for working with Scaleform. Most likely it's just for creating animations.

Wait a second, youre complaining about the cost of Flash CS5 but you can afford the latest version of Maya

I think you can get Maya free on student site..
Adobe dont have this... And that sucks :P

But that won't be much use unless you want to create non-commercial stuff with the UDK. And then you still need to be a student.
