    Noob at everything, help/advice please.

Okay so I'm new to UDK and just need some advice or some friendly help.

I want to learn the coding script in UDK (any suggestions?)

Also I'm wanting to learn 3D modeling (any suggestions on a beginner program and tuts for it?)

Thanks for the help in advanced,
    Fajen

    For coding... : http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/UDKProgrammingHome.html

For Modeling Programs you have a choice of

    Blender : Blender.org

    Autodesk Maya : www.autodesk.com
    Autodesk 3DsMax : www.autodesk.com

if you are a student you may get a 3 year license for Maya Max and dozens of other programs for free at www.students.autodesk.com

    Blender is Free to use.

Hmmm... I have blender so I'll stick to that sense I've played with it a little. Thanks for the fast reply...

Is there a book on UDK scripting?

There was going to be one but it was canceled months ago. Parts of that book are on the UDN page i linked you too, I believe its called " Baptism By Fire" certain chapters of that book is there, however that is meant for UT3 but much applies to it now. However, some syntax has changed.
