Intel HD Graphics 3000 Sandy Bridge - UDK Editor Support?

Will the UDK install and function on a computer equipped with the new Sandy Bridge Intel HD Graphics 3000 GPU?

I am specifically looking at the Intel Core i5-2520M.

it most likely will. I have a ati hd3000 integrated GPU with small FPS lagg. I clocked mine at 450 mhz so 650 should be a big improvement.

It'll probably run, but whether it'll be all that usable is another question entirely. Intel onboard graphics are notorious for not being up to par, even if they are on paper. You're probably much better off finding a machine with a dedicated graphics card.

If you find out, let us know. I've heard some buzzz that the Sandy Bridge stuff is leaps and bounds ahead of anything else Intel has done quality wise in the video department.

Yeah, I might buy the new Lenovo ThinkPad x220 that comes out this month. All of the benchmarks indicate that its Intel HD 3000 should perform better than my current laptop's Nvidia GeForce 9300m GS.

I would just hate to get it home and discover that the UDK refuses to install. (Or displays everything as checkerboards or something.)
