I am just playing about in the editor and teaching myself elements of it. I have now started on materials and well most of them start with a texture sample, but what would you do if you just wanted to start with a solid block color.
I am trying to create an ocean material that is a solid blue, it is an overused example but think Windwaker, what is the best way to start this. Sorry for such a basic question but I could not see this answered in my searchers or via google.
Also while I am asking that, what is the optimum size for a texture sample and does anyone have a good tutorial that explains mapping a texture to a mesh?
Thanks!
