Copyright Question

Hi, we doing non-commercial remake of FrozenByte's Shadowgrounds...

You think there will be problem with Copyright?... We want do very similiar copy of it and add some new features... I asked Frozenbyte, but i don't have any respond... The game is about 4-5 years old and here is it's homepage

Unless you have explicit permission from the company who owns the copyright to the game and its intellectual property, that is copyright infringement and is prohibited by the EULA for UDK.

Thank for quick information and thank for stopping me in time... So if they will say me i can... Then i don't tresspass copyright, right?... But it's Ok when they just send me email and say i can... Doesn't it must be confirmed some way?

Usually if you recieve an e-mail containing permission from the author, then that is enough to constitute an agreement, even if it is fairly loose.
