    Sound working with PhysX is stumping me. Pls help

    hey all I am currently making a game on UDK 08,

    I have glass and PhysX pillars in my game and for the life of me I cannot get sound to play reliably with them when they break.

    I have it currently set up in the objects options under depth parameters sound plays on take damage under all materials.

    When I break the objects in game, I get the sound, but then I'll get the sound playing again randomly when I am not interacting with the object at all. I am sure it has something to do with the PhysX chunks glitching a bit, but I can't seem to find a fix. I tried a physical material as well but no luck there either.

    Any ideas or if people have run into this problem and have a fix please help me out.

    I have the exact same problem with a fractured actor of glass.

    You would break the glass and then you'd hear for around 2 seconds a repeated glass smash sound.

      Yea, same dealy. If anyone knows a jury rigged fix I would be extremely grateful.
