    Voip

From what I have read around, and asked, there is no VOIP support in UDK.

In this thread the OP said it he had heard it was possible via a DLLBind.

Does anyone know any particular DLLs that have worked in the past?

this is a solution but voip is a feature you only would get a chance to do if got the support.Should be your last issue but it can be done

It is supported via the OnlineSubsystem. It's not clear if it is supported in what we get from Steam for free. It's also not clear to me if there's enough code in the base classes to get it working.

Were building a rally game where the navigator talks to the driver, symbols are sent, but VOIP communication would defiantly be a bonus.

EDIT: I read the link, and see what you mean as it is a solution. We may as well just record voices in that case...

It looks like, theoretically, if Steam is enabled on both ends, it should "just work". I can't really guarantee that is the case, though, I only have one steam account, so have not been able to check this.

yea there is steam but steam's voip has bad codec/quality.

              Hboybowen,

Have you actually used Steam's VOIP along with UDK, from within the UDK app?
