    HDRI Lighting?

I just finished checking out the Marmoset Toolbag. It looks pretty cool, but nothing that can't be done in UDK (with experience.) The only thing that really impressed me was the Dynamic HDRI Lighting. I know it's possible to use cube maps and some constants to fake it in the Material editor, but is possible to bring an HDRI into unreal and use it as a light?

I don't think there would be a way to import an HDR image into UDK, also while you can use emissive materials to create lighting, I doubt you'd have good results from trying to light the whole map with a big emissive skymap

yeah, when udk first came out, i tried that. epic fail.
i'm going to try some tests. i finally figured out how to make a cube map and an ambient cube map, so in theorey, just using that in the material will work fine.
