They are saying in the FAQ that you cannot sell your game with the UT Skeletal meshes, but what with the AnimSets(AnimationSets).

As the FAQ states, you many use any and all assets that come with UDK except for SkeletalMeshes. That includes animations.

No, all assets including animations but excluding SkeletalMeshes can be used. You have to create your own character meshes and skeletons, but you can use the existing animations.

You can use the existing animations, however, if you're going to build your own mesh and skeleton, you might as well animate it while you're there.
