Rain Help

I am new at UDK and i'm not sure how i make rain? I watched videos on youtube but it confused me.

no offense, but if watching a video tutorial confuses you, I'm not sure how you're going to have much luck with a written tutorial.

rain is probably the simplest thing to make, maybe besides floating green and red crosses with a circle in the middle.
the eat3d cascade video goes over explicitly how to make rain. I got i streaming for like $29 for one month.

They use a file called un_weather which i don't have.

don't take offense people setup can quickly become confusing, between versions and preferences, different workflows and software editors...
think about getting the eat3d cascade tutorial, I felt like it was worth it for me and it covers what you need.
3dBuzz has basic intro to particle (free) that might help if you haven't watched those.
