    Actor factory doenst accept actor

    HI!

    the actor factory in my kismrt sequence does nothing when i add a new actor to the actor factory.

    simple and short.can anyone help me?

    we're having the same issue.... the 'factory' in the properties window is acting like it is somehow write protected but we can change and save anything else in the level.

    we have already tried opening a brand new map, the factory can be defined there, we have tried copying the working factory to the clipboard and pasting it in.....no results.

    curiously we've noticed that ALL saved maps are doing this. is there a setting somewhere that is prohibiting us from writing to the factory portion in kismet after we save a level? if so, where is it and can it be toggled off again.

    we'd really like to add some bots, otherwise this big spiffy map is pretty much useless.

        actor factory x is having the same problem and i am so confused ,.....

        it works in a new level tough ,....

        does anyone have an idea if this is fixed in the newer versions ?

            You don't want to create objects of class'Engine.Actor', you want to create something more specific, such as a specific effect or projectile.
