Free Music

A shame we don't have an audio forum. Anyway... A game is not complete without music, but you don't need to write it yourself or get anyone else to do it, because there is already a massive selection of free stuff out there.

A particularly good source is Jamendo, which has all Creative Commons licensed music. I say it's particularly good because that's where you'll find my own music

Magnatune is an other good source for music. They also license music in a variety of Creatie Commons licenses, usually free for non-commercial music (cc-nc-by-1). For non-commercial UDK applications we can use the music. For commercial UDK applications you will need to buy a license (obviously).


ps, note that "Creative Commons licensed" doesn't mean much, as there are different creative commons licenses. So _always_ check the terms before you are going to use the music.
