Can a server deal with multiple players on multiple maps?

I'm just curious as to how level streaming works, I mean could you have 2 different players in 2 different levels streamed together on 1 server?

This doesn't make sense, you will have to be more specific.
Do you mean two maps loaded together? You ll have to do it by yourself.
Do you mean more game servers running on one single server? You can do it, but I don't get the point.
Do you mean two players playing two different levels but chatting/talking one eachother? This can be done, but there's no point in doing this, since you can already have this without modding anything inside the engine, using ventrilo or teamspeak.
