    Getting an object through!

I can work great with materials and bsps but I'm having trouble with meshes.
    Make the mesh in max

Add some detail and make normal and disp maps in zbrush

Made a material with the maps and a white empty texture

Applied it to the object with the material. Clicked show UV overlay, nothing showed up. What is the uv overlay supposed to look like?

And it looks horribly in game...

I flipped the zbrush normal map vertically, but they don't seem to map correctly.

The normal map looks wrong. You have to generate a tangent space normal map, not object space or world space.

The show UV overlay in UDK thing shows you the UV's used for lightmapping. You should generate nonoverlapping UV's in the second channel in Max if you want it to use lightmapping, or you let UDK generate one and try if that looks good (probably not).

Edit: Well in your zbrush image the normap map is allright. Did you import it as normal map texture?

I found out what it was. I didn't have the export cords checked (it's not checked by default). Anyone else, that's the problem
