    Static Mesh- shadow issue

    I got an issue with the shadow on my meshes:
    Example:


    Could someone please tell me how to fix that ? I make my models and apply the textures in GoogleSketch

    Probably smoothing groups, plus it looks like the topology of that wall with the windows cut out isn't very good, it looks like the windows were cut out with booleans and that always causes problems.

        Use light mapping. The shading method being used in you screenshot is vertex lighting, which stores light values in the vertex colors of the mesh, and blends lighting based on the locations of vertexes along the same face. In other words, if the face spans across the entire mesh (much like the triangles connecting your windows) the lighting will "average" across the entire face and look like it does in your screens.

          The smoothing group isn't set right. Not sure how to do so in Sketchup, but it's because the triangles are set weird.
