junkens repliedI don't see a reason why it's better as UDK.
Srsly I don't see it.
Scale is not everything.
A big-scaled game usually means no good graphics..well atleast not graphics like Mass Effect2 and so on.. also not really detailed... and this means I don't like it(my own opinion.. I don't really like MMO's WoW was good though.)
I won't ever finish a big-scaled game as a hobby-developer anyway so why struggle?
And I assume many others too.

Dreamcube017 repliedHm if I was making something like Perfect World where the world is reakin BIG.. klike there's no loading times whatsoever... then I suppose that would be the better choice, but for what I'm doing, UDK seems fine.

Wormbo repliedSo that's an engine for huge worlds and Unreal Engine isn't. You select an engine based on its abilities and live with it.
"Huge world engines" are usually optimized for those gigantic dimensions and are suboptimal if used to create "small world games".

the engine is so huge range , include building / planet / space / galaxy ....
and HDR / DOF / BLOOM ... all effect .
It can create GTA kind game , COD kind game , and MMO's RTS , SPace battle game ... so more range can to do .
and the planet gravity system , I already ask about question that how to create planet terrian in 3 month ago
now , infinity-universe already create the system.
epic backward infinity-universe tech about 1 year .
I hope UE3 have great update for gravity systemTags: None
