    Object Orientation Expression in Material Editor

    Anyone know how to use this? There isn't any documentation on it and I've had no look so far.

        this node's primary function (in my experiance) is to determine the slope of the face a section of material is applied to. The point of this is that you can use a number of different texture samples in a material, and use this to choose which one to display in a given area based upon slope.

        The most common example is to create a single material for one terrain, which allows you to paint the entire terrain with one material, giving you the detail you would have gotten from hand-painting grass on the top of every random flat surface in your map and a rocky texture on every steep slope.

        I must warn you, however.... this method does not seem to work with landscape mode as of the June version of UDK, rather, only when working with terrains and meshes. which, quite frankly, seems stupid to me, and I'm right about to update to the newest version to try to see if that fixes it, actually. If I find any solution or work around, i'll post it here.
