    transparency How ?

    How i can make the transparency to work in UDK.
    I Have diffuse texture.
    I also have black/white transparency map.

    I know how to load my diffuse,normal,spec but not transparency

    Here is my cube for better view.

    I believe you use a mask or change the opacity of the material, but I've never done that bit before.

        thx i think Translucent will do the trick i'll check it out in a bit.

          Using the emissive channel helps a little. That's what I used for some of my ice materials.

            Ok i've tested different ways. Basicly if you want to make transparent material you must
            1) Set the blend mode to - > Blend_Translucent
            2) Connect your diffuse to Emissive channel
            3) Connect you alpha map to opacity...

            Work just fine !
