If you have anything 'media content' (Texture sites, HLSL code, free models, sound ect.) that should be "stored" please place a link here: http://udkc.info/index.php?title=UDKC:Collections

There is no current media sharing site for content atm. There is plenty of good sites for media content - but you need search pretty good for it. Once such a site exists then this list will be first to be ported over into it's content directory.

Major sites will be found, but if this a personal link - this is where you want to stick it.

I found the original UDK documentation a little over complicated as a beginner. I think this is a good idea for beginners and intermediate and more advanced UDK users. Video tutorials are quick and easy.

A simple link will suffice for collectible content.

If it is a tutorial make sure it's added as a page or added to the list. http://udkc.info/index.php?title=UDK...mmunity_Portal

                        Prerelease

                        cheers,
now after some weeks of development, we proudly announce the prerelease of our new UDK Tutorial Homepage.
it has everything you need (i think so). you can submit tutorials or just view tutorials other users submitted, you can register (which is required to submit tuts, but viewing tuts is possible without an account), theres a board for discussing about UDK and especially about your tuts, there's news about tuts, UDK and everything,

                        please give us feedback!

                        so feel free to visit

well I'm the guy behind this project.
Decided to create here a account because sometimes I wanted to write to a topic something but couldn't

I appreciate any feedback. The page is totally one-menu driven. So everything you need is found in the topmenu. Quick and easy.
                          Hopefully you like it.

                            Looks alright mate.
Couple things I've noticed - On the registration confirmation page, (possibly all 3 pages), the header is excessively large in Chrome.

Also, the footer is unreadable and doesn't appear correctly formatted.
                            [shot]http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/9342/udkbasefubar.png[/shot]

On another note, I'm about to post the first of many tutorials on the BPS Dev Blog, http://blog.bulletproof-studios.com.au/. Hoping I can get a link to them on the site, or should I repost them there also.
Edit: It's not up at http://blog.bulletproof-studios.com.au/?p=7

I have a site up for content still working out the uploading bugs but audio and textures work fine.

                              http://www.playermadegamedesigns.com

was thinking though maybe a good idea to make like a webring between udkbase, udkc.info and my site?

anyways just thought I'd throw it out there

@eTrust: Thanks for this, I don't know why that happens with the registration thing. I will check the sourcecode. I also noticed that some of the other links doesn't work while you registrate.
To the tutorial thing. Right now it's only possible to submit trough article and this is good.
Anyway where is a way to implement weblinks but I don't want to use that.
I totally understand that tutorial writer want to show it trough their blogs/pages and this is fine with me to.
As long as you submit it with a direct link to the tutorial/rescource download and maybe a short summary what your are going to do or a "Final Picture" it's good.

And big thanks for your interest and trust in udkbase.com.

@DJMidknight: Are you using a php-nuke downloadcenter mod or a phpbb mod for download?
And because of this webring thing. I can't decide such things without a direct talk trough icq/msn or something. Or atleast some pm'ing. We will see.
