    Editor Crashing when coming to A_Weapon_ShockRifle.upk

    1. A description of the issue

    a: I was trying to run the UDK editor (december version)
    b: As always, the editor loads up to "A_Weapon_ShockRifle.upk, and then crashes

    2. Your OS information (including language)

    a: MS Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1 (6.0, build 6001)
    b: English/Dutch

    3. Your PC specs (you can get this information by going to Run... and type in dxdiag)

    4,0 GB RAM
    NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS - 512 mb ram
    Intel Core2 Quad Q8200 @ 2.33 GHZ

    4. Sometimes the contents of the log file (UDK-INSTALL-DIR\UTGame\Logs\Launch.log) can be helpful too

    Entire original log is in the code segment, please tell me if it needs to be translated entirelly into English.

    It looks like there is something wrong with your .NET installation and it's not supporting Dutch properly... Does it work if you switch to an English locale?

      I will try to find the option to change my locale, i have never found it before in vista

          Try installing Vista service pack 2 and all the important updates. Then uninstall (important) and reinstall the full version of .NET 3.5 SP1 (not just the client parts):

            I had been fiddling with this program since it came out to work, nothing worked.

            But you helped me, i've uninstalled .net framework 3.5 sp1, installed windows vista sp 2, reinstalled .net framework 3.5 sp1 (and .net framework 4.0 beta for good measure), and it works!

                ive got the same problem but i have XP will this still work

                im going to do what you said im deleting the .net frame 3.5 service pack1 then im going to install full version of 3.5

                it still didn't work am i doing some think wrong plz help

                i downloaded and installed the march addition and it still don't work
