UDK or UT3 editor? Differences?
What is the differance between the editors and is it worth it to use udk even know I have the ut3 editor? I have both but I don't understand what the differance is.

UDK has newer and better features such as lightmass, but is tailored for standalone games or total conversions (You can't play a UDK map in UT3).
UT3 doesn't have those cool new features, but if you just want to make a mod or a map for UT3 you'll have to use that. -
If I wanted to make a mod I use the UDK and convert it into UT3?
H'm any tutorials on how to get the basics for mod development?
This is the kind of field that I want to pursue as a carrier
I have been working with the UT3 edior for about 6 months now and I am sure I can get the hang of UDK if I find a simple easy to read tutorial for basic mod development or what ever I need to read.Comment
