    Can't install UDK because it's asking for something I already have

    Hello,

    I have x64 bit Windows 7. I have .NET Framework 4.0 and 4.5. My windows are up to date.
    When I try to run installation of UDK, as administrator, in any compatibility mode, it always gives me message that I need to have .NET Framework 4.0.0319 installed in order to install UDK.
    I already have .NET Framework 4.0 and 4.5.

    What is the problem?

      * set v4.5 to something like "Value Not set"
      * set v4.0 as "depracated".
      - It sounds liek 4.o is superceeded by 4.5, which might make sense, but also might be the root cause.

      - i use UDK version 1- 9 all of which i use with 4.0

      ^^ i only answer because no-one else has, hope it helps...

        OOPS; i forget to tell you how (sorry lol).
        - Start > Run > "Regedit".
        HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP
        *** also this is just an attempt^^ i have no idea what the result on the rest of your system will be

        p.s i use windows 7 but you did not voice a concern with losing functionality elsewhere...
