Possible Frontend problem

    OK, after a little bit of detective work, I have found the problem. There is NO ISSUE or PROBLEM with UDK Frontend!

    What seems to have happened is that there was an issue with the landscape material on one of my levels. Interestingly enough, it worked fine when running it in development but not when compiled with frontend

    So what I did was simply change the landscape material to another similar one that I had and everything now works fine.

    I hope this info helps someone else down the road.

    Hi Guys,
    I was attempting to compile my game today using the UDK Frontend program and everything seemed fine. The program built the .exe file, I installed my game but when I attempted to run it, it crashed. Basically this happened when I attempted to load the first level and so I looked at the log file and found the following information

    So it says that the UE3shaderCompileWorker.exe is not in the directory for the game. So I looked at previous installs and noticed that it isn't there either and those run just fine. So the question is, why is this needed and why isn't it included in the game.

    I will also add that I am using an Nvidia GT-640 video card with 2G of ram and the latest WHQL drivers 327.23 which came out about two weeks ago.
