    SpeedTree Import failed...Help

So when i go to import a custom speedtree in to UDK the Import fails. This is incredibly annoying! This is not the problem where the tree imports but you cant see it, with this the tree never makes it in to UDK. below are the log files... if anyone has any ideas that would be awesome!

    [0262.60] Log: FactoryCreateBinary: SpeedTree with SpeedTreeFactory (...\05 - Assets\01 - Source\07 - Follage\Follage\Trees_01\Tree_01\SpeedTree_compile d\Tree_1.srt)
[0262.63] Log: SpeedTree Error: Could not load the tree data
    [0622.56] Log: FactoryCreateBinary: SpeedTree with SpeedTreeFactory (...\05 - Assets\01 - Source\07 - Follage\Follage

Try to import the mesh from a folder without spaces in the name maybe ?

Well I don't have any spaces in the name just underscores. I saw on another form that it could have something to do with speedtree presets but I'm not sure what exactly this could be referencing??

speed trees premade trees import fine just not my custom ones?

Good I wanted to use this post to be very similar to the problem I encountered, while importing the tree from SpeedTree import problem does not matter all the textures and the tree in question, but this is not displayed. Appears completely transparent even after inserting the materials.

Alexjaa-save the package and restart UDK it will be there

I have Found the answer to my problem though I was exporting the tree with out materials on the truck assigned. Their not necessary for what I was doing and UDK throws a fit(my problem)with out them!

Also make sure stuff like level of detail and what not is turned on in the main tree selection.
