i keep on getting this error when im trying to run UDK. never happen before .help

Was the UDK was already installed and suddenly stopped working or is this a fresh install?

lol yes,but i forgot about it >.<
yeah i had it installed already and suddenly stopped working.I even uninstall n install it again and same thing.The program was running fine

Can I assume you're running the November 2012 version?

Make sure you've installed all prerequisites. you need:
* C++ 2010 Redistributable (both 32-bit and 64-bit if you're on a 64-bit system)
* .Net Framework 4.0
* DirectX (just use the web-setup)

If you're on a 64-bit system and running through UDKLift.exe or running the 64-bit UDK.exe, give the 32-bit UDK.exe a try and see if it gives the same error.

Worst case scenario: you've got corrupted system files.

i was using the july version when i got the error. it was working fine for 3 months, after the error i went for the november one and still the same thing..im going to try whatr you said.

I recently had the same issue... reinstalling your C++ 2010 Redistributables is what worked for me.
