    Problem with lights in UDK 2012 - textures used from UDK 2007.

    Hello everyone.

    I'm studying Games Techology for my university course and I have to create a level. I bought the UDK game as it comes with the editor and high resolution terrain package. My uni is using 2012 version and when I apply the textures to the terrain there is like a black shadow around the player.

    Is there anyway to fix this?

    Edit: yes, the lighting has been rebuilt several times.

      I'm not sure about your lighting issues, but UDK isn't a game that you can buy. And didn't come out in 2007. You might be thinking of Unreal Tournament 3 which came out in 2007. That game came with its own version of the editor for modding. UDK came out later in 2009. While UDK includes some of the content from UT3 as examples, you aren't able to use any of the UT3 content that isn't already included in UDK.
