Hello, I've reading through Rachel Cordone's "Unreal Development Kit Game Programming with UnrealScript Beginner's Guide" book and am up to the point where I need to compile a custom made class. The compiler compiles fine, but it completely skips over the new class I made. I've added the line "+EditPackages=AwesomeGame" under "[UnrealEd.EditorEngine]" in DefaultEngine.ini.

I've also tried and then removed the same line from DefaultEngineUDK.ini. There is no errors from the compiler and it seems it just doesn't detect the new addition. The AwesomeActor file is a .uc extension and not .txt.

I am using Windows 7 and the UDK-2012-07 release I believe. Would anyone be able to help, because if I can't compile anything I can't progress any further.
