    Dithered translucent Opacity bug

Opacity Mask in Dithered Translucent material isn't working. Previously it had used Opacity, but it is not active now.
    UDK Version: 2012-05, 2012-07

Try using soft mask? I've never used Dithered Translucent, are you trying to achieve soft edges? For now at least.

DT gives sharp noise effect. I have used it before it broken in this video. Around 1:30.

I suppose you can achieve it by giving it a noise in the material editor that way. Wish I can help. This is usually the issue with updating builds often, some things work and others break; an Epic rep should give you a better answer then.

I have noise in this material, but with other type it's not visible from distance.

Bump. This bug is not fixed in 2012-11 beta.
Perhaps, developers mistaken with disabling Opacity channel. Previously, Dithered Translucent materials used Opacity, not the Opacity Mask.

Shameless bump. 2015-02 and Opacity input is still inactive. How could they mix it up with OpacityMask? It is a translucent blending, not masked!
