    Crashing when trying to substract.

    So, i have been using udk for a little over 2 days now, so far so good. However, i sometimes came across random crashes. It seemed to stop entirely at some point, and i was happy. But now it has returned, only this time, i know what causes the crashes.
    It seems whenever i try to substract CSG, the game editor crashes. This may not be the biggest problem in the world, because i'm not sure i'm gonna use the feature for this game, however that doesn't mean I won't need it solved. First because i'll be needing the feature at some point or another, second because i don't like the random crashes.

    I'm using a msi cx623 laptop, with windows 7 -64 bit.
    My version of udk is the most recently (Downloaded from epicgames, 2 days ago)

    Any suggestions?

    Just an update:
    I can add, and undo adding, just fine. But as soon as i substract, it crashes

    I also found out that if i do not do it, using the hotkeys, no such problem occours, so i guess that's a workaround, but still, it would be nice to be able to use the hotkeys.

      How much CSG do you have in your level? It's only meant for simple stuff. Having a lot of them will start causing issues like glitches and crashes.

        post your launch log ... could be a rendering thread exception,

          I have next to nothing. I think one cube and one plane (For water).

            can you subtract a brush elsewhere in the level? (just out in space somewhere)

              Go to your UDK Directory then go to UDKGame then click on logs before you post it delete all logs, then launch udk make it crash and post the log (a log should be created post this one), it's better to delete them all otherwise you might just post a different log by mistake, there's no need to delete them afterwards, just for now so that you post the correct one,

                Yes, substracting whlie nothing is there doesn't seem to crash the game.

                I tried that, all i get is a crash dump file, which opens in visual studio, and it doesn't seem like there's any actual text to cope, unless it's because i'm a complete ****** ta this and just can't find it

                      Alright it seems like you got a rendering thread exception, what kind of GPU have you got ?
                      also are you running any other applications at the same time than UDK ? flash videos as in youtube, flash games, stuff like that
