    Generate UVs broken?

    Using the October 2011 release of UDK if I try to use the Generate Unique UVs tool on static meshes, I'm getting this error:

    "GenerateUVs failed, couldn't convert to a D3DMesh."

    An easy way to test this is to create a simple BSP box object, convert it to a static mesh, then try to generate a UV and the error appears.

    In previous versions, it would just make the UV on these same static meshes. Has the tool's requirements changed, or is it just broken in some way?

    Okay my problem seems to have gone away with a reinstall of the Oct 2011 UDK. Noooo idea what caused it, since that was a pretty fresh untampered install in the first place.

      I found that changing the renderer from dx 11 to 9 fixed the issue.
