    Lighting problem


    First part of a video series and my escapades towards becomming a better game developer/artist.


    Right, you can skip to 1:03 if my voice offends you.


    Right, as you can see the brick wall parts have some weird looking shadows. You can see where one mesh begins and the other ends, it's crazy.
    What's going on with the lighting, I wonder? Please, help.

    I got the same problem...

    This happens with me too. At 1st I tried to build a city level using planes to build big buildings, but that problem made me give up and make a whole mesh for a building. In your case I guess you could turn those several meshes in only one and use a tile texture. It's not rly a fix to your problem, just a turnaround though.
