    Disabling Skeletal Control

    Hi guys, greetings from smallB!

I was implementing system of enemy aiming his weapon at the player and everything went fine. I followed this tutorial:

    http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/Using...lControlLookAt

Now, the question is, what if I decided that I don't want my enemy to point at me, how do I disable that SkelControlLookAt? That is, how do I make my enemy to point as it was pointing in original mesh imported into udk?

    Thank you.

Get the reference to the SkelControlLookAt and then call SetSkelControlActive(false); takes BlendOutTime to reach strength 0.0f, or alternatively SetSkelControlStrength(0.0f, 0.0f); which will be instant. SkeletalMeshComponent::FindSkelControl(name nameOfControl) will get you the control from the animtree. You can call it from your Pawn's PostInitAnimTree to initialize a variable with that control.
