    How to make a "Slender" Script in Unity ?

    Hello

    SORRY I WAS MEANING UDK !!!

    I'll have a new computer soon, with it, i'll pay UDK 4 and i want to start the basic now.

    I plan to make a horror game, Slender-Like (with another monster, maybe Russian Sleep Experiment or The Rake) but i don't know where to start for the AI.

    My Skills :
    I've learnt C/C++ and Objective-C, A Bit of Java too.

    The Slender would have a agressivity level from 1 to 9 or something like that, Higher is this variable, slender will chase you and get closer of you; Flashlight will have a shorter life too.
    Also, to the Monster Model, i'll add a sound trigger to make the ambient music faster when he's close;

    Any tutorials to start with AI, Scripting, Animations,... ?

    Thanks

      For stepping into AI I'd recomend this:

      but you may also find this usefull für Unrealscript in general:

      For your case:

        You don't really need AI for a slender type game, since the monster never moves or directly attacks the player. You could probably just use an actor which is teleported around based on certain conditions. You can use dot products to ensure it is spawned behind the player, and run checks to see if it is on screen and hurt the player accordingly.
