    MegaMan wall slide

    Ok everyone, i have been scowering the forums and cant find anything I'm looking for. I am doing a 2.5D platformer in unreal and i started with the platformer starter kit. I'm looking to when i jump against a wall a press up against it he slides down the wall just like in Megaman. Is there anyone out there with some ideas or has done this before where i can take a peak at what you have done. Thank you guys!

    When a trace detects a wall and the player is pressing up, having a branch in your animTree that has the sliding animation playing and slow down the Z velocity so it seems like there is friction.

      For my game I shoot a trace, towards the wall and just multiply the pawns z velocity by like 0.2 and that simulated friction sliding down. Once the trace is not hitting the wall or you press jump, it returns it to normal.
