    Shadow/LOD Error on Buildings?

    Hi there,

    When I'm close to one of my buildings the textures look fine, as shown at http://puu.sh/5x7zK/f79957bdcd.png.

    However as I move away from them this happens; http://puu.sh/5x7IX/4edac91bb7.png.

    I understand it's an issue with the Dominant Direction Light (shown in the top-left of the second screenshot) however I'm not really sure what's happening or how to resolve it - I'm still fairly new to UDK.

    Any pointers/advice appreciated.

    Build your lighting, that's an artifact from dynamic lighting, unless you need your light to change, bake your lighting, it'll be much higher quality.

      Cheers. I've been wanting to try that though if I do a lighting build on this map it could take hours. D:
