[Bug] Crash when editing materials

    I am still having this issue with the July build and the latest Catalyst drivers. I had to compile all the shaders on a different computer before I could work on the one with the Radeon. I'm guessing this is more of an ATI issue than an Epic issue. I should've gone with an nVidia =P.

    Was this ever solved? As I too get an error when using frontend with the problem being "Error deleting file" the file is "WorkerOutput.bin"

    Quadro

    Okie doke. Quadro cards don't work. They appear to not be supported. Must push for newer video cards. Trying to get a bunch of the GTX 275s or better. Thanks for the help :-)

    Charlie, do you have any other issues when using UDK with the Quadro? For instance, can you cook one of the example levels through the frontend?

    I'm trying to narrow down if the Quadro is the cause of a whole range of issues in UDK.

    I am using a Quadro. It's the University's PC so I'm sure there is a virus scanner running. I'll have to get a lab tech to exclude that directory.

    To elaborate on the bug; The material expression isn't important. It happens with a few of them. In one instance I used Vector Parameter. In another I used a Constant 3. The issue does not happen on my home PC so it must be something with the university PC's system specs, or possibly the virus thing.

    Do you have antivirus installed? If so, try excluding the UDK dir (C:\UDK\UDK-2009-11-2 in your case) and let us know if that changes anything.

    This happens 100% of the time.

    With the Beta 2 version, in the Editor, in a new package, I create a material. The editor crashes when performing the following:
    • Opening the Material Editor
    • Adding an expression in the Material Editor
    • Compiling Materials after closing and saving the material
