UDK/UT3 Video Tutorials List and Support Thread

dear gedoav,

i am getting an strange error

Can't find files matching C:\UDK\UDK-2012-01\Development\Src\Dev\Classes\*.us

this folder is empty and I haven't tuched it at all, whats going on?
I know the answer might be somewere in your tutorials, i haven't had time to watch them all yet.

i take it that the "Dev" folder is your project folder, it might be a good idea to change the name if it to your games name, otherwise the engine might get confused.

i think that you have already edited the defaultengine.ini to add the code package name, you only have to do that once you actually have started making some code files

i removed the Dev folder from the defaultengine.ini and added a folder for my game, thanks

Is there a newer clean list of links for high end schools, and video training anywhere on the net for UDK and CG ? Most everything I find is out dated with broken links, or is 38 pages long like this one. I have seen a lot of videos on youtube but a lot of those are done by first time teachers. I have been a subscriber to 3d Buzz, Digital Tutours, 3d Motive, and Eat 3d. Which are all great schools, but I was wanting to know what else might be out there thats current.

I have a great link for UDK training. Im no way affiliated with either but I think they are great.

College Teacher for Maya, UDK, Zbrush and Photoshop my 4 favorites. I dont think I have found anything better.

sorry i don't do "iron sights" as in most cases it's just a gimick and doesn't relate to real weapon useage, eg normal the head should tilt slightly in this position

fyi I have no x hairs painted on the screen which is why ironsights are needed. Had a brief look thru that code and I don't think it has the 3p 'raise' animation option.
