    Alpha/gradient masks

    These truly don't seem to be available in UDK's Scaleform implementation, is there any workaround so that my 'energy bar' won't have such a visible seam where the mask ends?

    Bump.
    Any workarounds are welcome, doesn't have to be a gradient mask, just anything that makes that seam smoother.

      take a look at UDKHud.fla (and its GfxMinimapHud.uc) on how they implement the ammo part, it'll give you a hint on how to implement and improvise this type of bar rather than standard xScale or masking.
