    Display log data?

    allo!

    Is it possible to display log data into a floating scaleform menu? If so, can someone direct me a little bit?

    I'm not ENTIRELY sure I get what you want to do, but i SUPPOSE you want to be able to direct UnrealscriptCode like `log() to display on the HUD or a loaded swf in the scene? How I solved it was to write a simple function in Unreal:

    function Debug(string message)
    {
    RootMC.ActionScriptVoid("Debug");
    } // Note: this is the HUD we're tlaking about

    and in flash, I made a movieclip that appends a textfield to it with the sent in string message and moves the earlier texts upp a notch.

    If this isn't what you want, please elaborate your idea further

      @Charleon, sorry for my late reply!

      That is exactly what I want to do. I have a game type set up where when I press the fire button, a string prints to the 'log(). I would like to dynamically populate a Scaleform menu with that string.

      If that is what you are doing, can you take me through kind of step by step how to do it when you have a couple minutes?
