    Floating Damage Window

    I am attempting to create the floating damage numbers that appear when you hit an enemy showing how much damage you caused to that enemy. My first idea was to create a particle effect that uses the swf movie as a material in the particle effect, but this has proven harder than I thought and I don't believe I can access the movie to change it's number. Does anyone have any idea how to do this?

    you can use Canvas and then just make it draw the pawn damage every time its hitted

    i believe theres a event that occur when the pawn is hitted i think it was OnHit not sure

      Canvas still works in October UDK? I was under the impression that functionality has been removed.

        UIScene was the one that was removed as far i know canvas still can be used
