    Strange shadow on object

    Hey guys, I created a simple model, textured it, but there is a shadow on it, which wont dissapear even from different angles or after rebuilding lights.It kinda looks like as if wood is burned... My model got only one UV layer so far, having hard time creating second one in maya. Anyway, can this be caused by not having second uv channel ?

    Do you get any errors when you build your light?

    -add a lightmass importance volume
    -increase the lightmap resolution
    -create a 2nd uv channel
