The vertex groups are done like in your tutorial (but more accurate ^^)

Check your vertex groups. Also send me another pictures of your char in blender ^^

    Well, that works pretty good

I focused on the arms/hands so ignore the other problems.

But why do the wrists look that crazy?

Ok I'll try it later on. Thanks for the tip.

Make sure that the arms point to the ground, then assign the rigg to the character -> you should always fit the mesh to the rigg not vice versa

Could you probably post a picture from blender of the char with rigg -> also check your vertex groups

Probably this tutorial helps you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFFSVoP5DWo

    Problem with custom character.

    Hello,

I just rigged a custom mesh to the default UDK bones in Blender. Everything is working great except the hands.

Both the same animation but my mesh put the hands to the sky, perfect for a dance game but thats not my goal xD
I think the proble is both hands won't stick to the bones in the middle. But why?

    Thanks for your help!
