    You can't import materials into UDK, only textures(png or tga formats.) Then make materials with those textures. Also it looks like you need to unwrap the UV's of the building inside 3ds Max.

    Textures not showing up in UDK

    I designed a building in Autodesk Architecture and exported it to 3DS Max with materials. This is what is looks like in 3DS max [pic]. Everything is right and the textures render.

    Then I export from 3DS max to FBX format and import to UDK, but I only end up with a static mesh that has no texture or materials [pic].

    I don't understand why the materials disappear when they are clearly visible in 3DS Max.
